Who we are
We are occupational and organisational psychologists with clinical backgrounds and a considerable experience in navigating in human and organisational complexity. Some of us have also worked with military psychology, and some are former military officers, maritime and civilian leaders.
For more than 20 years we have developed and performed assessment programs for operational leaders with focus on both Human Factors and Technical Factors. A large network of psychologists and former military leaders are a part of our company.
We are all licensed psychologists and adhere to the Ethical Principles for Nordic Psychologists (www.dp.dk).
Frank Lamberg
Psychologist & Programme Director
Having a background as both a Military Officer and a Master Mariner, Frank has been a senior consultant in the Peoples Skills Department at Maersk Training in Denmark for many years. Being a licensed psychologist from the University of Southern Denmark, and a specialist in psychology within Maritime and Offshore working environments, Frank has been responsible for the group of external psychologists at Maersk Training.
Apart from being a creator of numerous specialized training courses combining both human and technical factors in the Maritime and Offshore Industry, Frank has extensive experience with Human Factor and Technical Simulator Training of Officers and Supervisors, Human Factor Assessment, Leadership Assessment and Leadership Development, Crew Resource Management, Ship-handling, Crisis Management Training, Hostage Training, Safety and Security, as well as Team Work and Leadership Training in Maritime and Offshore working environments.
Frank, who has operated World-wide, has a strong focus on quality, changing mind-sets and creating behavioral changes in the Maritime and Offshore Industry.
Søren Diederichsen
Psychologist
Søren is a licensed psychologist from the University of Aarhus in Denmark, and has extensive experience with the maritime industry. He has previously been employed as an Internal Management Consultant in Cooperate Human Resources A.P. Moeller Maersk, has been a leading external psychologist on Leadership Assessment Programmes at Maersk Training for more than a decade, and has previously been Chief Psychologist in Seahealth Denmark.
Søren, who has trained psychologists abroad and also works within the field of Crisis Psychology, is a dedicated and client-focused psychologist, who takes pride in delivering professional and high quality consultancy. One of his many forces is his in-depth knowledge and experience with making assessments of and developing Maritime Leaders. Being the co-author of "Virtual Management", co-developer of the "Safety Recruitment Assessment Tool", "Collaboration and Communication at Distance", as well as "The 8 Safety Links", Søren has also been engaged in a vast number of projects for different Shipping entities globally – for example in relation to development of recruitment processes, retention and sick leave, leadership and safety culture seminars.

Allan Vestergaard
Psychologist
Allan is a licensed psychologist from the University of Aarhus in Denmark, and an experienced strategic consultant, process consultant and advisor to high leadership echelons. He has worked as an executive consultant in large public sector organizations and private companies, and functions within both Clinical and Organisational Psychology.
Allan, who is an associated partner, has been an external psychologist at Maersk Training for more than a decade, and he has vast experience with Leadership Assessment and Leadership Development, as well as Human Factor Assessment of Maritime Officers. Allan is certified in a number of valid testing tools that can be used for personal development as well as for more organization-focused development of individuals and teams. He has also worked extensively with crisis management and has lectured and advised on debriefing and defusing for many years.
Prior to becoming a psychologist Allan graduated as an officer in the Danish Army, and he currently holds the rank of Captain. He has been engaged in military mission training for many years, has lectured at the Danish Defense Academy, just as he holds a designation to the Danish Division of the Danish Army.
Mads Schramm
Psychologist
Mads is a licensed psychologist from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, and has extensive experience with the maritime industry.
Mads has been a external psychologist on Leadership Assessment Programmes at Maersk Training for more than a decade, and has previously been psychologist in ”Seahealth and Welfare Denmark.”
Mads has been engaged in a vast number of projects for different Shipping entities globally.
Examples is the training programme ”Bridging Culture” for ”The Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific” (MAAP) in the Philippines ” and the ”Mental Wellbeing Tool Box”.
Mads is the author of a number of books and publications that address relevant themes in a maritime context. e.g. ”Virtual Management”, ”Communication on a distance””, ”Ship and office on the same wavelength”, ”The good working life at sea”, ”Leading Diversity”.
Mads many years of experience as a psychologist, has giving him a strong focus on developing a good working environment and good leadership skills in the Maritime industry.
Dr. Sabiha Sultana
Psychologist
Our associated partner, Dr. Sabiha Sultana, is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with more than 25 years of experience in the field of Mental Health. She holds a doctoral degree in Applied Psychology and was a Post Doctoral Fellow in Neuropsychology at the prestigious Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of London.
Dr. Sabiha Sultana was a Commonwealth Fellow during her post doctoral training, and has extensive experience in psychological assessments, crisis intervention and therapy. Sabiha, who also has extensive experience with training other psychologists, is now a senior consultant with a premier Corporate Hospital in Chennai and also heads The Behavioral Health Division of a premium diagnostic healthcare organization headquartered in Chennai. Being a certified Brain Based Neuro Leadership Coach, Sabiha engages with the Corporate Sector in India in facilitating leadership enhancement in high functioning individuals and teams.
As an external consultant for Maersk Training India for almost a decade, Sabiha has been deeply involved in all their programmes relating to Leadership Assessment and Leadership Development, Anti-Piracy Training, as well as Human Factor Assessment.
Dr. Sangeetha Madhu
Psychologist
Sangeetha, who is an associated partner, is M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences/NIMHANS in India and holds a doctoral degree.
Being the director of the Chennai Institute of Learning & Development, Sangeetha is a clinical psychologist who also works within organisational psychology. She is an Eisenhower Fellow, and has embarked on a lifelong leadership journey towards collaborative community action on global challenges. Being certified in Narrative Practices from Dulwich centre, Australia and Theory U Practices from the Prescencing Institute in Germany, Sangeethas passion lies in positive transformational change. She uses a strength-based approach towards leadership development, and works on maximising performance through the process of shared purpose and vision. Sangeetha has extensive experience with training other psychologists.
Having worked as an external consultant for Maersk Training India for almost a decade, Sangeetha has extensive experience with Leadership Assessment and Leadership Development, Anti-Piracy Training, as well as Human Factor Assessment within the maritime Industry.
Ivan Doulgerof
Chief Psychologist
Ivan, who is a retired Major Army Reserve and veteran, is a licensed psychologist from the University of Copenhagen.
Ivan engages in a broad spectrum of psychological assessments and interventions at the level of individuals, groups and organisations – both in terms of Organisational and Clinical Psychology.
Ivan was previously the Chief Psychologist and Head of the Health & Psychology Department at the Red Cross in Denmark for almost a decade. He has been a consultant for the Danish Armed Forces Institute for Military Psychology and a DATS/Danish Advisory and Training Staff military advisor, a leading psychologist for Maersk Training Svendborg for more than 15 years, and he has worked as a psychologist and leader in both Occupational and Somatic Health Services.
